Sensation in the Single Sport
The Arctic Equestrian Games in Vestfold, Norway, will host an international indoor competition for single drivers on 19th and 20th February as part of the international show jumping competition.This will be a great opportunity to make the single driving sport more attractive. Single driving action at top level will be presented on Friday, February 19th and Saturday, February 20th, during the main programme of the mega indoorevent in Vestfold.
Bartolomiej Kwiatek from Poland, Cristiano Cividini from Italy, Henrik Hoper from Denmark, Thomas Sjoberg from Sweden, Susanne Leibetseder from Austria, Ferenc Bajaki from Hungary and Linn Stokken Nielsen and Oivind Mikkelsen from Norway will compete against eachother in the indoor marathon competition.
The Arctic Equestrian Games take place the 5th time in 2010.
Thousands of spectators will be enjoying presentations of horses, top sport and shows during the 11 day event in the Brunstad Conference Center, about 1.5 hours away from Oslo.
In 2009 an excess of 16.000 horse-enthusiastic visitors from all age groups were excited with the biggest Norwegian horse festival. 600 horses were the center of the comprehensive program, which was the perfect mix between sport, show, entertainment and music. In 2009 a price money equivalent to approximately 200.000 Euro was awarded. The “AEG” is well known in the North of Europe and is a mandatory event for all horse fans.
