CAI Szilvásvárad 2010 afgelast

Leider musste aufgrund der Witterungsverhältnisse das internationale Fahrturnier in Szilvásvárad 2010 – 25.-27.Juni – abgesagt werden.

Het regent al wekenlang in Szilvásvárad wat ernstige overstromingen veroorzaakt. De bodem is doorweekt, de marathontrajecten zijn onbegaanbaar en het is overall modderig en nat. Nadat de organisatie alle opties had bekeken werd gekozen voor afgelasting om het welzijn van de paarden en de veiligheid van de deelnemers en toeschouwers niet in gevaar te brengen.

It has been raining for several weeks in the Szilvásvárad area causing serious floods. The soil has got soaked, the phases of the marathon section are impossible to be reached and it is muddy and splashy everywhere. After monitoring all the options the OC has made their final decision taking the welfare of the horses and the security of the drivers and the spectators into consideration.
