Breda: Kampioenenparade bij het mennen

Outdoor Brabant will take place this year September 24-28 in Breda, the Netherlands. This year will host not only the largest field of competitors in the history of the competition, but also an incredibly talented field of drivers.

The newly named World Champions IJsbrand Chardon, Koos de Ronde and Theo Timmerman will be present in Breda with reigning European Champion Timmerman defending his title from the National Championships that were held here last year. In addition to the golden trio, Christoph Sandmann, the many time German Champion and member of the silver medal team at WEG, will also be starting.

A large number of pony drivers, many of whom past champions will make use of this competition as a dress rehearsal for the Pony World Championships that will take place in Breda in 2015. Two time world champion in the four-in-hand ponies, Bram Chardon will be putting his best effort forward in order to defend his title in Breda.  We can expect the same from pair pony champ Ewoud Boom, who is not only reigning world champion, but also national champion.

In 2009 Melanie Becker was Single Pony World Champion and will defend her national title this year at Outdoor Brabant.  She will be joined by the entire podium from the 2013 Pony World Championships, Martin Hölle from Hungary, Rosanne Walters-Symmons from the UK, and the Netherlands' Els Broekman.
