Dutch team named for FEI World Single Championships in Piber
After the Dutch Single Championships in Uden last weekend, team coach Ad Aarts announced the single drivers that will be representing the Netherlands at the FEI World Single Driving Championships in Piber, Austria from 3 to 7 August. Wilbrord van den Broek, Saskia Siebers, Rudolf Pestman and Eline Houterman will be travelling to Austria.
Reigning World Champion and multiple Dutch Champion Wilbrord van den Broek will be competing with his 20 year-old horse Oscar.
Saskia Siebers was crowned Dutch Champion last weekend and won the competition in Horst with her horse Axel, which was also the first observation competition. She will make her World Championship debut in Piber.
Rudolf Pestman came second in the Dutch Championships with his 13 year-old Diesel, with which he already competed at two World Championships.
The 20 year-old Eline Houterman will be the individual driver in Piber and just like Siebers, she will make her World Championship debut.
The team will be under the leadership of team coach Ad Aarts and team veterinarian Schelto Jonker.
