Competitors CAIO Aachen announced

The complete competitors list from the world's largest international equestrian event in Aachen from 18th to 23rd July is announced. A total number of 25 competitors from 11 nations will start. Title defenders are Boyd Exell in the individual class and the Dutch team in the Nations Cup. Boyd Exell won the CAIO Aachen 7 times before, the Dutch drivers are hoping to take home the gold medal for the 10th time.

Tuesday 18 July
10.00 hrs: Horse Inspection

Wednesday 19 July 
13.00 hrs: Dressage, opening class (test 3*C H4-former test 8A), does not count for the individual and team classification

Thursday 20 July
10.00 hrs: Dressage (test 3*B H4), counts for the individual and team classification

Friday 21 July 
11.00 hrs: Cones Top Score Competition-does not count for the individual and team classification

Saturday 22 July
14.30 hrs: Marathon, counts for the individual and team classification
21.30 hrs: Combined Eventing-, Jumping and Driving Competition in the Main Stadium, does not count for the individual and team classification

Sunday 23 July 
10.00 hrs: Cones, counts for the individual and team classification
13.30 hrs: Prize Giving Ceremony

Competitors Extra Class Saturday evening

The competitors for the spectacular combined Eventing-, Jumping and Driving Competition on Saturday evening are:
1. Boyd Exell (AUS)
2. Georg von Stein (GER)
3. József Dobrovitz (HUN)
4. IJsbrand Chardon (NED)
5. Koos de Ronde (NED)
6. Chester Weber (USA)

These competitors will bring an extra team of horses to Aachen, especially for this class. There is a prize pot of no less than € 30.000 for the riders and drivers. Each member of the winning team receives a prize of € 2500.
