Benjamin Aillaud receives l’Année Hippique Award

On Sunday afternoon, the Geneva international horse show was the stage for the l'Année Hippique Awards 2017. French four-in-hand driver Benjamin Aillaud was voted best Driver of the Year 2017.

Benjamin received the Award in the presence of Eric Bouwman, the Dutch owner and breeder of the Arabo Friesian horses with which Aillaud was very successful during the outdoor season.

The 41-year-old Aillaud won the international competitions in Nebanice and Pau and achieved top placings in Saumur and Donaueschingen. His season’s highlight was finishing on the seventh place of the individual ranking at the European Championships in Gothenburg. Aillaud ended his season splendidly with winning the gold medal at the French Championships in Lignières.
