Bad luck for Cheryl Pratt Rivers

For the American single driver Cheryl Pratt Rivers, being able to participate at the World Championships in September is not yet a certainty.

During the cones competition today at the international driving event in Kisbér she tipped over.  Fortunately her horse and groom were not injured, but Cheryl was not so lucky.  After being examened in the hospital, it was reported that she had broken her hip. Cheryl, who for the first time has travelled to Europe to compete here and qualify for the World Championship, already had an unlucky accident earlier this week when she broke her ankle falling from a scooter.
