Exloo 2019: Green light for all horses
The third edition of the international driving event in Exloo started this morning with the Horse Inspection. All 198 horses and ponies received the green light from the veterinarians and the judges.Photo: Krisztina Horváth
Divided over two lanes, the competitors presented their horses and ponies to the international Ground Jury, composed by Elimar Thunert and Peter Tischer from Germany, Jacob Bendtsen from Denmark and Dutch judges Jaap Boom, Marion Koornneef and Nicoline Vos.
A total number of 89 competitors from 10 countries will start at the nicely prepared site of the Equestrian Centre Exloo, where the singles horses and pony pairs will drive their dressage tests this afternoon. Competitors in the other classes will enter the two dressage arena on Friday.
The marathon is scheduled from 10am on Saturday morning, including six nice obstacles, amongst which the spectacular water obstacle. The obstacles are designed by Dutch level 2 Course Designer Arjan Kleinjan this year.
The competition will be concluded with the cones competition on Sunday in two arenas.
