CAI3* Altenfelden celebrates 25th anniversary
The largest international driving competition in Austria welcomes top drivers from all over the world for the 25th time from 16th to 19th June 2016. Many competitors have Altenfelden as fixed event in their yearly calendar, where over 100 drivers from 15 nations will compete against each other this year.
Many countries have indicated the well-known three-star competition in Altenfelden as qualification event for one of the many driving Championships this year, like the FEI World Singles in Piber and the FEI World Four-in-Hands in Breda.
Local hero and reigning Austrian four-in-hand Champion Josef Leibetseder jr. will do his very best to challenge the other top drivers as much as he can.
The dressage on Thursday and Friday will take place in the beautiful scenic dressage arena, which alone is already worth a visit. The marathon takes the competitors through the beautiful alp landscape on Saturday. The OC is working hard at the moment to renew the demanding marathon obstacles. The exciting and decisive obstacle driving competition is scheduled on Sunday.
The anniversary will of course be celebrated extensively. The celebrations start on Thursday night with a beautiful Opening Show, including a Nations Drive. The Groom Game guarantees entertainment and fun! The Party Tent is the location for the prize giving ceremonies on Friday night and Saturday night.
