The marathon of the international driving competition in Lipica, Slovenia, took place under tropical circumstances today. It was around 35 degrees, but all horses finished without any problems. Italian pair driver Giorgio Proietti however, was less fortunate today. He tipped over in the third obstacle and his horses went off. Two cars were damaged, but the injuries of the horses turned out to be not as severe as it looked like, thanks to the quick treatment of the veterinarians. Proietti broke his foot.
