Aywaille to no longer host competitions
The team in Aywaille has organized a national competition for more than eight years, as well as a 2* and 3* competition, and the Belgian Championships last year. After putting their name forward to horse the European Youth Championships, this later had to be rescinded due to the catastrophic floods that hit the area last summer.Cemetery
The flooding in not the reason for the cancellation of all competitions in Aywaille, but the expansion of the cemetery. The organization lead by André Wynants have been required to make room.
The competition, which was situated between the beautiful hills of the Ardenne and the mountain river Amblève, was a beautiful backdrop for a horse show. It was an event appreciated by all of the drivers.
