IJsbrand Chardon finished third today. He drove fast and smooth, but had a ball on gate 4 due to a foot error by one of the horses. Koos de Ronde started energetically, but in one of the marathon obstacles an element went over and later another ball fell. He also couldn’t get the speed that both his compatriots had. Jérôme Voutaz and Dries Degrieck came to an almost equal end result, with the advantage of Voutaz’s greater speed, being cancelled out by the extra ball of the Swiss.

On Sunday afternoon Boyd Exell will start last and second to last starter Bram Chardon will have to make up about one and a half seconds on him to extend his title.
