Survey results FEI Driving Championship formats available

The FEI recently conducted a survey for FEI drivers, officials, competition organisations and national federations on the formats of FEI championships. The results are now known, and will be important for the changes that may be implemented after the full revision of the FEI Driving Rules in 2025.

In 2025, the FEI Driving Rules will be fully revised. The changes will be implemented from 2026. To ensure that FEI championships continue to meet the changing needs and wishes of the driving community, the FEI conducted a survey from 5 September to 10 October 2023. The survey generated 296 respondents, including FEI drivers, national federations, FEI trainers, FEI officials and FEI competition organisations.

One of the striking results is the need for a championship for young driving ponies. This currently exists only for young driving horses.
