Kick-off World Cup season is just around the corner

This week, the world's best Four-in-Hand drivers are back in full action. While Glenn Geerts, Bram Chardon, Boyd Exell and Koos de Ronde, János Papp, Daniel Naprous, Peter de Ronde and Anne Okkema will be present at Indoor Friesland on Thursday evening, the start of the World Cup season will officially kick off in Lyon on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November.

With both events taking place so close together, it makes sense that the drivers at Indoor Friesland will not be present in Lyon and vice versa. In Lyon, Mareike Meier, Georg von Stein, Jérôme Voutaz, IJsbrand Chardon and Dries Degrieck will compete for the first World Cup points of the season. Frenchmen Benjamin Aillaud and Anthony Horde are competing on a Wild card. Their placings will therefore not count for World Cup points.
