Bertus van Tergouw has passed away

Bertus van Tergouw, founder of Equestrian Centre Riant, the international driving competition in Beekbergen and so much more, passed away in the night from Sunday 25 to Monday 26th of February at the age of 87. A great loss – already – for family Van Tergouw, friends and the driving sport.

Bertus will be taken to his final resting place at the end of this week. The family would like to invite everyone who knew him to come to Beekbergen to pay his last respects, but especially to exchange memories about this greatest horseman.

You can say goodbye at the following times at Equestrian Centre Riant:

* Friday, March 1 between 18:00 and 20:00.
* Saturday, March 2 at 13:00 there is a farewell meeting in the indoor riding school of Riant. Bertus will then be escorted by carriage in a small family circle to the crematorium. This will be followed by an informal get-together until 18:00 in the indoor riding school.
