Bram Chardon & Pille-Riin Roosileht nominated for FEI Awards

The FEI today announced the nominees for the prestigious FEI Awards 2024. Bram Chardon has been nominated for the ‘FEI Best Athlete’ Award and Pille-Riin Roosileht for the ‘Best Groom’ Award.

Bram won his first World Championship in 2011 with his Four-in-Hand ponies. He repeated this in 2013 and 2015 and then made the switch to the Four-in-Hand horses. 2024 will go down in the books as Bram’s most successful year so far. After winning the gold medal at the European Championships in Exloo at the end of 2023, he won the World Cup at the finals in Bordeaux in early February 2024. The silver medal at the World Championship in September this year completes the success series!

This year there is also a link to the sport of driving at the ‘Best Groom’ Awards. Pille-Riin Roosileht (Estonia) is the groom and trainer of the Hungarian youth driving team.

Pille-Riin moved to Hungary in 2011. Meanwhile, Pille-Riin is very involved in the Hungarian driving sport as a trainer of the Hungarian Driving Academy and the Hungarian Junior Team. She is the manager of Lehel Stables in Kisbér-Ászár with 29 horses and also regularly rides dressage competitions under saddle. Meanwhile, Pille-Riin is also FEI Steward Level 3, which means she can now work at championships when she is not grooming.
