Breda: Seventh national title for Ewoud Boom
Ewoud Boom has won his seventh national title in Breda this afternoon. Woutera van de Kamp won silver, the bronze went to Dirk Neerinx. Christof Weihe finished second in the international competition, ahead of Marc van der Speeten.
Boom put down very strong performances in dressage and marathon and was far in the lead, with gold closeby. His pony Romeo unfortunately did not cooperate with him in the cones which resulted in three knockdowns. “I will use Valdino in Deurne, because I can't allow this to happen in the future," says Ewoud Boom, who was very pleased with his Dutch Championship title.
