Bregenz: Dressage victories for Brauchle and Pfeffer
Heavy rain showers tortured the second day of the Bodensee Classic in Bregenz all day today. The footing in the dressage arena held during the pairs dressage, but got extremely heavy during the pony fours class. Especially the smaller ponies had to work hard to keep the carriage moving.
Germany’s Steffen Brauchle put down the best performance in the deep footing and won with five penalty points ahead of his compatriot Dieter Höfs. French driver Nicolas Clair finished on the third place ahead of the best Dutch driver Jan de Boer.
The Ground Jury took the heavy circumstances into account and despite the bad conditions; several good dressage tests were put down, which showed the high level.
