CAI Windsor Park 2023 cancelled

It is with much regret that the Organizing Committee of Windsor Park International have had to cancel the inaugural event. The show was planned to take place 3-8 May, the week before The Royal Windsor Horse Show, within Great Park in Windsor.

The UK has experienced a constant above average rainfall throughout the winter and spring, and following discussions and site visits with representatives from the Crown Estate and Royal Windsor Horse Show it was agreed that the ground at the event site is unfortunately too water logged to safely run an event. With no end in sight for the rainfall there is no chance the ground will dry out before the event sufficiently to make it safe.

The committee were thrilled with the entries of nearly 40 competitors from 4 different countries and they are working hard with the Crown Estate to hopefully source an alternative date for this year. The OC would like to extend its thanks to the Crown Estate and Royal Windsor Horse Show who have offered invaluable support as they created a brand new FEI carriage driving event in the UK.
