CAIO Aachen 2024: Follow the driving competition via livestream!
Just a few more days and then the prestigious 4* CAIO with World Cup qualification will start in Aachen, Germany. The competition with the always exciting Nations Cup can be viewed via livestream, including via ClipMyHorse.The driving horses will undergo a veterinary inspection on Wednesday, July 3. The dressage is held on Thursday. The Top Score Competition will take place on Friday, just like in other years. This competition is not part of the individual and Nations Cup classification over three events, but it is spectacular and there is competition for great cash prizes. In this special cones course, drivers can choose their own route. You must choose and drive strategically, because there is no fixed order of the gates. The drivers must collect as many points as possible within a maximum of three minutes. Each gate has its own value of points depending on the difficulty level. In addition, each gate can be driven a maximum of twice. As usual, Saturday is the marathon day, Saturday evening is the Jump & Drive and on Sunday the final cones course is driven.
There is plenty to do for the public during the CAIO Aachen. The vendor village has something for everyone, from culinary, fashion, demonstrations and shops: a party to experience!
The Netherlands is represented by IJsbrand and Bram Chardon and Koos de Ronde; Dries Degrieck, Glenn Geerts and Tom Stokmans will be driving for Belgium.
