CAIO Exloo and Dutch Championships Four-in-Hand + Para Driving ready for the start
From Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 August, the tension will increase during the international driving competitions and the Dutch Championship for Four-in-Hand and Para Driving at Equestrian Center in Exloo. In addition to these important championships, a Nations Cup is also on the program and the organization can count on participants from no fewer than 17 countries.Titelverdedigers
Defending champion Bram Chardon is eager to deliver a strong performance, after he was also honored as European Four-in-Hand Champion in Exloo last year. He will face strong competition from his compatriots in the battle for the title.
The Para Drivers are also competing for the Dutch title and a strong field of competitors will be at the start. Title defender Francisca den Elzen will unfortunately not be competing this championship. She stopped driving marathons after Beekbergen last year. The multi-day competitions became too tough for her. However, she still does dressage and cones competitions.
In the international Nations Cup, the national teams will try extra hard to get a good result and thus win World Cup points.

Program & entrance
After the horse inspection on Wednesday 31 July, the competition will start on Thursday. The first two days are dedicated to dressage. On Saturday, we can enjoy the always sensational marathon designed by course builder Jeroen Houterman. All marathon obstacles are situated around the main field, so visitors can follow their favourite driver in all obstacles. The spectacular water obstacle is also always very popular with visitors. Sunday will be dominated by the denouement during the cones test.
It promises to be a brilliant equestrian event where young and old can enjoy excitement and thrills. Access to the event is free of charge. There is ample parking space also for the disabled.
