CAIO and Dutch Championships Exloo: One horse to re-inspection

The international competition in Exloo, also the Dutch Championships for the Four-in-Hand and Para Drivers, started today with the veterinary inspection.

Except for one horse, all horses and ponies were given the signal ‘fit to compete’. Zeron, owned by Belgian Four-in-Hand driver Glenn Geerts, was the unfortunate one who will have to wait in the holding box for re-inspection, which will take place Thursday at 08.30 am.

Update Glenn Geerts

Thursday morning Glenn has announced that he withdrew Zeron before the re-inspection started. “Shortly before the horse inspection on Wednesday, Zeron slipped. He is not feeling 100% well, so we have decided to withdraw him from the competition. His welfare is most important. Havenmeester (Hazes) will replace Zeron in the marathon and cones”, said Glenn Geerts
