Dillenburg: Win for rookie Houterman and home favourite Lauterbach

The Netherlands Eline Houterman made her mark on the international scene with a convincing win in the single horse CAI** division. Finishing almost thirteen points ahead of her countrywoman Saskia Siebers, her clear round in cones – the best of the day – was the icing on the cake. Marcel Lehmbrug representing Germany came in third.

In the single horse CAI*** division Dieter Lauterbach managed to clinch the top position after cones, taking the lead from Philipp Faißt who had won both the dressage and marathon. Reining Dutch champion Wilbrord van de Broek was third.

 

Dieter Lauterbach
