First Edition of Driving De Achterhoek a success
Over 2000 spectators were present Saturday evening at the Lichtenvoorde Equestrian Centre to witness the first edition of Driving de Achterhoek. The 18 internatnional pair and four-in-hand drivers we more than ready to give the audience a show. In the end the top prize in both divisions went to Hungary. Martin Hölle was the best of the pair horses and József Dobrovitz topped the four-in-hand horses.International level 4 course designer Johan Jacobs built a super course including a bridge in the spatious arena. The bales of straw along the sides of the arena provided a safety barrier and kept the driving enthousiasts at a fitting distance.
