Gloria Austin passed away

Yesterday news reached us that Gloria Austin passed away. The American won many traditional rides and competitions in America, Canada and Europe. She also wrote several books and founded the non-profit organization Equine Heritage Institute.

In addition to the above activities, Gloria served on the Board of Directors of the Carriage Museum of America, founding member of the Four-in-Hand Club; and memberships in the World Coaching Club , European Private Driving Club, and British Driving Society.

Gloria will be greatly missed by the driving community. Hoefnet wishes her family, friends and loved ones much strength with this great loss.
