Heavy loss for Tobias Bücker

Last weekend Germany's multiple World and European Champion Tobias Bücker and his son got injured in an accident. The pony Destiny of Lord died of her injuries. According to the police report, a 71-year-old car driver noticed the turnout too late. She drove into the turnout, which ended in the ditch.

The 41-year-old Bücker got broozed and has a whiplash. His 12-year-old son came out of hospital with a broken kneecap. The seven-year-old mare who was successful at international level with Bücker's children, was taken to a veterinary clinic but had to be put down because of her severe injuries.
