Horst: Horse Marco Freund passed away after finish of the marathon

A very unfortunate ending of the competition in Horst for the very strong performing Marco Freund. After a great performance in the marathon, his Danish gelding Snoopy collapsed on his way to the stables and passed away due to a cardiac arrest.

The former pony pair driver Marco Freund won the dressage and impressed in the marathon, in which he finished fourth. He is well in the lead in the standings after dressage and marathon.
We wish Marco and his team much strength.
