International season Europe kicks off in Exloo

Equestrian Center Exloo is the setting for the international driving competition this week. The location that hosted the 2023 European Four-in-Hand Championships and the World Para Driving Championships will traditionally host a top event for the sport of driving early in the season.

With 135 participants from 16 different countries, it promises to be a high-level competition. Big names, including Dutch four-in-Hand champion IJsbrand Chardon, will appear at the start in Exloo. The strong field of participants in the pony classes and the horse pair classes underlines the importance of this competition in an important year towards their World Championships.

Saturday, March 29
* Marathon, designed by course builder Josef Middendorf (GER).The obstacles are located around the main course, allowing visitors to easily follow the participants. The water obstacle promises to be another highlight.

Sunday, March 30
* Dénouement during the skill

CAI Exloo is an event for young and old. Spectators can enjoy top sport, excitement and sensation for free. There is ample parking, also for the disabled.

FEI Driving Forum

Prior to the competition, the FEI Driving Forum will take place on Tuesday afternoon, March 25, and Wednesday morning, March 26. Topics include new trends and developments (Tuesday) and young horse competitions, championships and international youth riding (Wednesday).

Stallion Show

On Thursday evening, March 27 at 19.30 it is time again: the annual stallion show in Exloo. An evening full of power, elegance and impressive stallions from different studbooks. It promises to be another magnificent event, with a strong focus on KWPN stallions as well as a wide range of other talented stallions.

22 approved stallions will appear in the arena, including well-known KWPN harness horse stallions such as Olympus HS, Neon GSM, Nicolai VB, Rebel MJDB and Ravensgoed W. In addition, Gelderlander stallions such as Odin and his sire Edmundo, as well as Odeer, Raffael K and Royal King will also be on display. In addition to KWPN stallions, talents from other studbooks will also be presented, including: Welsh pony studbook, New Forest pony, Barock Pinto, Gypsy Cob, KGPS, ponyverband Hannover, NMRPS, PRE, AES, NHS and KFPS.

In addition to the stallion parade, the evening will be made extra special by a spectacular fire show by Working Equitation specialist Marco Boavista. In addition, there will be a sales presentation, where interested parties will have the opportunity to buy a harness horse.

The stallion show at Hippisch Centrum Exloo attracts many visitors every year and promises to be a great success again this year.
