Promotion for Jeroen Houterman

International course designer Jeroen Houterman has just been promoted to Level 4 status by the FEI.  Level 4 (former O-status) is the highest level an official can achieve in the driving sport.  With this promotion Houterman will now be able to build World Championship and CAIO courses.

Jeroen Houterman is no new name to the driving world.  The 48 year-old is active in the dutch driving organizations and has been course designer and member of the organizing comittee in Uden since 1996.  Houterman has been active as (assistant) course designer at many national and international shows such as Deurne, Horst, Beekbergen and Läden.  He also holds his Level 3 Technical Delegate designation as well as being an FEI World Cup course designer.

For Houterman, who has two daughters actively competing, is combined driving strictly a hobby.  He runs alongside his wife Annemiek a company specializing in potted plants, and the entire family is frequently seen at competitions competing with a pair of horses at third level.
