Lipica to host first Nations Cup for Horse Pairs in Slovenia

For the first time in the history of Slovenian equestrian sport, the world-famous Lipica stud farm will be the venue for a Nations Cup for Horse Pairs (CAIO4*-H2). After the success of the FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs in 2017 and the Donau Alp Cup in 2022, Lipica will this year host the inaugural Nations Cup for Horse Pairs (CAIO4*-H2).

Furthermore, the competition is open for Horse Singles (CAI2* and CAI3*) and ponies (2* singles, pairs and four-in-hands) as well as a CAI2* class for the Horse Pairs.

In this intermediate World Championship year for the Horse Pairs and all Pony classes, the drivers can, if necessary, achieve their qualification for the 2025 World Championships in Lipica at the end of the driving season. But above all, Lipica is a wonderful season finale!

World Class Officials

World class Course Designer Gábor Fintha is, like previous years, responsible for the courses, while the Ground Jury is composed by level 4 judges Andrew Counsell (GBR) and Pia Skar (DEN) and level 3 judges Miguel Gutierrez (ESP), Marion Koornneef (NED) and Roland Morat (ITA). The main arena with sand footing offers the perfect location for dressage and cones.

Host of two World Championships already, 2011 for the Ponies and 2017 for the Horse Pairs, the experienced Team at Lipica is very much looking forward to welcoming you!

Entries are now open through your National Federation. Entries close 16 September
