ICDA Survey Makes the Opinion of International Carriage Drivers Matter
After the International Carriage Drivers Association (ICDA) was established in February 2023, it was officially recognized by the FEI in late 2024. This gives the association, which was created to represent the interests of all international pony, para and horse drivers, a say in important decisions within the FEI.Established in 2023, the ICDA follows in the footsteps of other major disciplines such as dressage and jumping who have formed similar associations in recent years. They have previously established similar associations. The ICDA serves as a direct line of communication between the drivers and the FEI.
For everyone
Both international drivers and those involved in the sport of driving can become members. There is no membership fee in 2025. All classes will be represented and also driver representative Franz Schiltz (LUX) has been invited to optimize communication between the ICDA and the FEI.
All international drivers and stakeholders (such as grooms, trainers and officials) are invited to join the ICDA. For more information and to apply, visit the ICDA website.
Survey
The survey is about the possible changes to the 2025 FEI regulations, which will take effect from 2026. Through the survey, all ICDA members can give their opinions on this, giving the opportunity to change and improve the current regulations.
The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. The questions cover the most relevant topics, but feel free to add recommendations that are important to you (max. 100 characters per topic). This survey serves as input for the suggestions of the rules revision towards the FEI.
