Minden: Jannes Kinds wins four-in-hand marathon
Individual representative of the Netherlands, Jannes Kinds made a strong showing today, winning the marathon by a good margin. The Netherlands managed to hold on to their second place finish in the team competition but are still trailing behind hosting country Germany.Gilles Pirotte

Singles
The fastest drive today went to Gilles Pirotte from Belgium. He was followed by Austria’s Erich Pürstinger and France’s Claire Lefort.
In the provisional standings German driver Marlena Brenner is holding the lead, with Gilles Pirotte moving up to second place and reigning World Champion Fabian Ganshirt sitting in third. The close scores will make for a very exciting cones tomorrow.

Pair Ponies
Niels Kneifel, an individual representative for Germany w0n the pair pony marathon, he was followed by French team driver Jean Frederic Selle and Individual Dutch driver Karel van Kekem. All of the dutch pair drivers made a strong showing today as all five finished in the top ten.
Jan-Felix Pfeffer was able to hold onto his lead with Tara Wilkinson taking second place issn the provisional standings and Dieter Baackman in third.

Four-in-hand
A surprise win for dutch individual driver Jannes Kinds today in the four-in-hand ponies. He had the fastest time in no less that five obstacles and finished with more than four points ahead of german marathon specialist Michael Bügener. This exceptional presentation will mean that Jannes will start tomorrow as the very last competitor in the cones and will hopefully bring home the gold in doing so.
Tomorrow morning the cones will being. After the lunch pause the best ten drivers of every division will drive to determine the team and individual medal winners. There is very little room for error in all of the divisions which means that anything can happen tomorrow.
