No more Horse Pairs in Windsor

The Organising Committee of the international driving competition in Windsor has had to take the difficult decision to withdraw the Horse Pairs class from Royal Windsor.

Over the last few years the OC has had real trouble parking all the driving and showing lorries as they have grown in size over the last 10 years. Windsor only has a set amount of parking available and it is always difficult for the whole show.

The OC has had to ballot hard to keep the numbers down and there were always more competitors than they could really cope with. The OC could not turn around to nations using it as a qualifier and say that they could only bring 2 pairs or teams.

Therefore, with great sadness the OC has decided that they can no longer hold the Horse Pairs class, whilst loosing this is a great sadness as the OC does genuinely love this class, this will enable the OC to give more opportunities to the Horse Teams and Pony Teams without balloting.

Royal Windsor Horse Show will take place from 13 to 17 May 2015.
