Nordic Driving Challenge Chempions are Eveliina Koivula and Riina Rõa

Beginning of September the final of the first ever Nordic Driving Challenge took place in Tagadi, Estonia. Eveliina Koivula from Finland took first place in single horses and Estonian Riina Rõa won the single pony category.

The Nordic Driving Challenge consisted of three competition during this season. It started at CHI Pärnu (Estonia), followed by Inchukalns (Latvia) and Ypäjä (Finland). Finnish driver Eveliina Koivula was the best in the single horses class collecting biggest amount of points. Second place was for the Latvian Dace Sture and third place for the Finnish Ben Simonsen.

In the pony category the first and third place stayed in Estonia, with Riina Rõa on the first place and organizer of Tagadi event Key Kunman as third. Between the Estonians finished theFinnish Raisa Takkinen.

International wins were divided by Finnish, Norwegian and Estonian drivers. Norwegian Kjell Oivind Mikelsen was best in CAI3*-H1, Finnish Raisa Takkinen CAI3*-P1, Eveliina Koivula CAI2*-H1, Estonian Riina Rõa win CAI2*-P1 and same time Estonian Championship 2024.

Next year

Tagadi starting already to prepare for next year and planning to make one step higher as already You can find in FEI Calendar 11.-14.09.25 CAIO4*-H1. The plan is to organize single horses team competitions in years between World Championships. Also different other categories will be organize beside of Nations Cup.
