Open House Chr. Van den Heuvel & Sons a success

The carriage makers Chr. Van Den Heuvel & Sons in Valkenswaard, NL opened their doors this past weekend for their annual open house. Visitors enjoyed a drink, hors d'oevres and the wonderful atmosphere as they admired the new and most innovative marathon and presentation carriages as well as the stunning antique vehichles.

The new professional electric mountain bikes impressed four-time World Champion IJsbrand Chardon. The bicycles feature wide tires which can easily manouver the heavy marathon terrein at top speed and optimal comfort. Many other visitors joined IJsbrand in taking a test drive with these innovative bicycles.

The presentation of the 'Christiaan van den Heuvel Trophy'  which is awarded to the best restauration by the NVTG was presented this year to Toon Wortel by Mrs. van den Heuvel.
