Jumping Mechelen 2021 is going all out for a top edition

The preparations for Jumping Mechelen are in full swing. The organization is busy to organize the event as safely as possible and expects to be able to welcome visitors.

Jumping Mechelen 2021 will be a fully COVID Safe event according to the rules that will apply in Belgium from 26 to 30 December. Below we have briefly summarized the most important matters. The exact requirements can of course still change.

Therefore, regularly check the current measures.

Corona certificate

All persons present, visitors, riders and staff, from the age of 12 years and 2 months, must have a valid corona certificate.

You get access to the event if you:

  • show a vaccination certificate stating that you have been fully vaccinated for more than 2 weeks;
  • have proof of a negative PCR test (taken less than 48 hours ago);
  • have a recovery certificate less than 6 months old;
  • have proof of a negative antigen test performed by medically trained personnel (taken less than 48 hours ago)

It is not possible to have yourself tested on site.

Face mask

In addition, everyone from the age of 10 must wear a face mask. You can only take off your face mask when sitting down and when riding a horse. Gunther: “Don’t forget that we as an organization have made a lot of preparations behind the scenes to optimally protect our audience.”

It will be the 40th edition of Jumping Mechelen in the Nekkerhal, with two competition arenas and a cosy Christmas village filled with shops and catering establishments. Both the JM Kids Day and the indoor music festival JM Feest will still be taking place.

Until December 25, the presale for the tickets applies.
