Pau: Gold medal for Ewoud Boom

Ewoud Boom has just put down a fantastic double clear round in the final cones competition and has secured his individual gold medal. The silver medal went to Marco Freund, Anna Grayston took the bronze medal.

After Marco Freund had left the arena with 4 penalty points for exceeding the time allowed, Boom had an advantage of over 9 points. Boom kept his head clear and put down an excellent performance, putting down the only double clear round of the day. The excitement with Boom, the Dutch team and the orange fans was enormous when Boom passed the finish line to secure his first ever gold medal of his career.
