Pille-Riin Roosileht and Annika Borg joined FEI Driving Committee
Today was the second ‘in-person’ FEI Board meeting of the year. In it, it was announced who are joining the FEI Driving Committee.The Driving Committee previously indicated a preference for candidates with the following background: U25 driver who has competed at least twice in the FEI Driving Youth Championships (regardless of age category), or a trainer/Chef d’Equipe with experience of FEI Driving Youth Championships. It was known that Benjamin Aillaud (FRA) would step down. Heather Briggs’ (USA) term would expire in 2025, so she would be a member of the Driving Committee for one more year. At today’s meeting, it was announced that Pille-Riin Roosileht would take Benjamin Aillaud’s place and Annika Borg would fill Heather Briggs’ final year. Annika will thus be a member of the FEI Driving Committee until 2025 and Pille-Riin Roosileht until 2028.
Pille-Riini Roosileht has also been nominated for the FEI Best Groom Award. The results will be announced on 13 November.
