Riesenbeck: Von Stein Winner of the Driving Derby and German Champion
Georg von Stein has won the International Driving Derby and the German Championships in Riesenbeck this weekend. The 41-year-old instructor drove a clear round in the final obstacle driving competition and herewith secured his national title, ahead of title defender Christoph Sandmann. Michael Brauchle finished third. Dutch driver Koos de Ronde came second in the Driving Derby, which counted 43 drivers from 15 nations. European Champion Theo Timmerman won the international classification, which counts towards the FEI World Cup qualification.
