Saumur: Dutch dominance in marathon

The Dutch drivers dominated the marathon of the international driving event in Saumur today. Every class that included Dutch drivers, was won by an ‘Orange’. Belgium’s Marnix Maene won the marathon in the pony singles class; Boyd Exell extended his lead by winning the marathon as well. The temperature was lowered to around 25 degrees Celsius, which created comfortable circumstances for the horses, the competitors and the spectators.
