Saumur: Exell takes the lead
Reigning World Champion Boyd Exell put down an excellent dressage performance today at the FEI World Cup Qualification competition in Saumur, France. Exell won the dressage, ahead of Felix Brasseur from Belgium and Ernesto Colman Mena from Uruguay.The international Ground Jury awarded Boyd’s test with a score of 33,03 penalty points. Felix Brasseur is eight points behind the triple World Champion and Ernesto Colman Mena is over four points behind Brasseur. Edouard Simonet from Belgium and Stephane Chouzenoux from France follow on the fourth and fifth place.
The horse pairs and pony teams will enter the dressage arena on Friday. The pairs compete in the Nations Cup.
