Six Swedish drivers nominated for ‘Star of the Stars’
No less than six Swedish drivers have received a nomination for the title ‘Star of the Stars’ during the digital Gala of the Swedish Equestrian Federation on 28th January 2021. A total number of 20 equestrians can be voted on.The Carriage Driving candidates are four-in-hand driver Tomas Eriksson, single drivers Marie Kahrle and Cecilia Qvarnström, single pony driver Ann-Christine Arvidsson and para drivers Madelene Brånn and Charlotte Henriksson.
The candidates are nominated based on their achievements in the years 2000-2020. Over the past 20 years, Swedish equestrians have achieved many successes in the various disciplines at the highest level. Due to the cancelled championships and major competitions in the past year, this year’s theme of the Swedish Gala will be ‘Star of the Stars’. Everybody can vote until 28th January.
The gala will be broadcast live on 28th January at 20.00 on the Facebook page and the YouTube channel of the Swedish Equestrian Federation and on Equisport .
