International level 4 Course Designer Johan Jacobs had laid out a nice course for the six drivers and the enthusiastic spectators contributed to the wonderful atmosphere.
Boyd drove his team fast and fluent through the course and qualified for the Drive Off, as well as Geerts and De Ronde. The results of both rounds were counted together, but nobody was able to beat Boyd’s fast team. After two rounds, Boyd had an advantage of over 16 seconds to Glenn Geerts.
Benjamin Aillaud finished in fourth place, ahead of lady driver Mareike Harm and wild card driver Fredrik Persson.
The World Cup competition in Stockholm is scheduled at 21.30 on Saturday. A few hours before, at 16.00, the first Competition in Budapest will kick off.
