Udo Hochgeschurz passed away

On March 24th Udo Hochgeschurz passed away peacefully while asleep after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind his wife and true partner in life of 57 years, Heide Hochgeschurz, his son Eric and daughter-in-law Colleen and his families in Germany and Canada.

In 1989, German-born Udo Hochgeschurz (1942) represented Canada at the FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs in Balaton Fenyves, Hungary where he wrote history by winning the World title. After a successful career in competitive driving, Udo retired from the sport after the 1993 World Championship.
