Vecsés: Lázár and Dutch team in the lead after dressage
Hungarian four-in-hand driver Zoltán Lázár performed the best dressage test today in Vecsés, where the horse teams also compete in a Nations Cup, and won with a score of 35.63 penalty points. He stayed ahead of strong performing Dutch drivers IJsbrand Chardon and Koos de Ronde who finished second and third. The Dutch team is currently leading the Nations Cup. Hungary is second, followed by Germany on the third position.
Zoltán Lázár drove a very nice test as well as IJsbrand Chardon, with beautiful extensions and transitions. Chardon only had a small mistake at the end of his test when he went too close to the side of the arena and destroyed it with his carriage. Well performing Koos de Ronde came third in dressage with a score of 40.47 points.
The marathon starts tomorrow at 9.00hrs with the pony categories, followed by the singles, pairs and the horse teams as last to go.
