WK Le Pin 2024: Clément Deschamps (FRA) in the lead after first day

The first dressage day of the FEI Driving World Championship for Singles in Haras du Pin was a sunny one, much to the delight of the drivers, their teams and the spectators. After the first ten individual carriages, the first drivers counting towards the team rankings took to the arena.

First to go after the lunch break, American driver Taylor Bradish and her mare Katydid Duchess impressed the judges with a great test, who placed her in the lead with 54,64 points. Barely an hour later, it was the turn of the first French team member, Clément Deschamps. Driving Brume de Chablis, a horse bred by Michel Vignaud, the organiser of the Chablis international driving competition, the Frenchman showed a nice test which was awarded with a score of 50,31. Enough to get him the first position on the provisional rankings of the first day. Stefan Ulrich (SUI), did a nice test for the current second place with his Mecklenburger gelding Samito, earning a score of 53,97.

Friday will again be dedicated to dressage, with the second half of the competitors starting from 9.00
