Change in program CAI Exloo due to large field of participants
From March 25 to 30, Exloo will host the first international driving competition of the season on European soil. Because there are already 140 entries known to the organization, there is a change in the program.The 140 participants come from among others the Netherlands, Serbia, Great Britain, Romania, Norway, Hungary, United States, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, France, Germany and Belgium.
Programme
Initially, the horse inspection of the singles would be on Wednesday. The horse inspection of the pairs and teams would be on Thursday, so for them it was possible to arrive a day later at the Exloo venue. Because of the large number of participants this year, the organization decided to do the horse inspection of all horses and ponies on Wednesday. Because dressage is also on Thursday, it is not possible to do the horse inspection of the pairs and teams in addition to that. The horse inspection starts Wednesday around 15:30 and will take place in the in the main arena this year. Thursday and Friday are all dressage tests will be driven. Saturday is the marathon and Sunday the final cones.
The changes will be adjusted in the FEI program later. The request for this has already been submitted. “We are of course super happy that there is so much enthusiasm for our competition,” the organization announced. “It is a nice confirmation that people want to compete at our place. To ensure the show runs smoothly, we are unfortunately forced to make this change. Normally it is just a couple of competitors that arrive on Thursday, so we hope for understanding from the drivers.”
