Wild card for Georgina Hunt-Frith at Olympia

The evening’s entertainment for those attending the BritishCarriagedriving AGM and Members’ Conference was to watch the final qualifier for the Extreme Driving FEI World Cup competition on Thursday and Friday, 19-20 December at London Olympia. Four four-in-hand contestants each drove a warm-up round then a competitive round followed by a third circuit to find the winner of the prize money.

George Bowman IV, Wilf Bowman-Ripley, Dick Lane and Georgina Hunt-Frith each took turns round the course of cones and obstacles in a sizzling atmosphere and Georgina finally secured her ticket with the fastest time. Her third attempt was marred when her leaders demolished part of the bridge. It should be an exciting line-up at Olympia.
