Platinum jubilee celebration during Royal Windsor Horse Show 2022

In celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, a very special event will take place in the private grounds of Windsor Castle from 12-15 May.

The Platinum Jubilee Celebration will see over 500 horses and 1,000 performers create a 90-minute piece of spellbinding arena theatre that will include actors and artists, musicians, international military displays from the Commonwealth and Europe, our own Armed Forces, dancers and global equestrian displays. Performed live to an audience of over 5,000 on each of the four nights, the event will also be broadcast to the nation on Sunday 15 May by ITV and the ITV Hub.

The production will take the audience on a gallop through history from Elizabeth I to the present day. With moments of humour, great theatricality, pomp and pageantry, this will be a spectacle like none other.

The show takes place in the same arena used by Royal Windsor Horse Show during the day. One of the equestrian highlights is of course the Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix for four-in-hand horses (CAIO). Just like in 2021, the Driving competition will include the Horse Teams Class only.

Tickets will go on sale at 12pm on 22 September, with further information available at  www.platinumjubilee.com.
