Windsor: Capstick in the lead after dressage
This morning, the spectators in Windsor were able to enjoy some wonderful horse pairs dressage tests whilst enjoying the lovely sunshine at the same time. Barry Capstick put down an extraordinary test with his Dutch warm blood geldings Jack Hackett and Connor and is in the lead.
Barry is ‘back into business’ after his accident in the marathon at the World Pairs in Topolcianky 2013 and is aiming to win the Royal Windsor Horse Show for the second time in a row this year. Another strong performance was put down by Amely von Buchholtz, representing Argentina with her KWPN geldings Baldun and Valentino, finishing second ahead of 2009 World Champion Harrie Verstappen from the Netherlands with his piebalds.
Jo Attenborough put down the best British result, driving her pair of German horses to the fourth place.
